1.Введение
Several international languages are used
in the world to communicate with
people of different nationalities and
from different countries. Among them,
English has gained the most popularity
and not by chance. After all, English is
not just a language spoken in the US and
the UK. Firstly, you can add Ireland,
Canada, Australia, New Zealand, many
African countries and individual Asian
states here.
English has been defined as the language
for negotiations in international
organizations such as the UN General
Assembly, the European Security Union,
UNESCO, NATO, the European Union and
the Organization of Petroleum Exporting
Countries (OPEC).

2.Актуальность проекта
Today, many people watch TV. And
what if you combine business with
pleasure. According to observations,
many of those who speak a foreign
language perfectly, without being
native speakers, watch TV series in
the original language. Of the
foreigners, residents of Scandinavia
and the Netherlands speak English
the best in the world - almost at the
level of native speakers from the UK,
USA, Australia and other Englishspeaking countries.
The more you practice watching movies in English, the better you will know the language.
Gradually, you can switch to watching TV shows with English subtitles and, ultimately,
without subtitles at all.Everyone has their own goal for learning English. Someone needs a
language to move to another country, someone in order to get a desired job, someone just
for traveling or reading literature in the original language.

3.Приёмы изучения английского языка
1.Watching movies and TV series in the original will be a good
motivator, because you can watch fascinating videos in
between monotonous grammar exercises and cramming.
2.While watching the movie, you listen to how live coherent
speech sounds, with what intonation the actors talk, where
they make logical pauses and accents.
3.It happens that it is quite difficult for a person to get used to
the sound of unfamiliar speech and even familiar words are
not caught by ear. Then it makes sense to resort to subtitles.
4.If you want not just to have fun, but to benefit from viewing, work with a
dictionary. When you encounter an unfamiliar word, stop the video, open the
dictionary and write yourself a whole sentence with a new vocabulary and a
translation to it.

5.Заключение
As a result of the work on the
project, the material on
learning a foreign language
was collected and
systematized with the help of
videos and TV series in
English. Various sources of
information were studied,
such as newspaper
publications, books, and the
Internet.
We found out that learning a foreign language can take place with ease and pleasure. I
have considered such a method as "Learning a language through watching movies".
Thanks to him, students can not make much effort to memorize words. They will be
remembered by themselves, on a subconscious level, and will be applied in practice in
the future.
Thus, I came to the conclusion that learning English through watching movies and TV
shows is effective.
