The way to success

A little bit of historySince ancient times, man has learned to use the feather and down of
birds, both wild and domesticated. The plumage of arrows, the first
writing materials, jewelry and ritual objects – all these ancient people
made from bird feathers.
Later, down and feathers of birds began to be
used to fill blankets and pillows, as well as to
insulate clothes.
3.
The main differencesThe use of down and feather is based on their thermal insulation properties, which, in turn, depend on the structure and
structure of the feather. All birds, including chickens, have down feathers, but the down of waterfowl is significantly
superior to all other birds in its qualities.
The main difference is the
size of the feather: goose is
much bulkier and lighter,
duck is inferior in size, but a
little heavier.

The main differencesAnother difference between goose and duck feathers is their fat protection. Duck down
contains much more of the secretion of fatty glands, it has a specific unpleasant smell.
When processing duck feathers, additional efforts are required, in particular the use of
specific detergents that shorten the life of the pen.

In addition, goose down crumples much less,
restores volume more easily and, accordingly,
retains heat better. It is believed that the fluff of
the white goose has better thermal insulation
properties than the fluff of its gray counterparts.

Climate impactThe climatic conditions in which the bird is raised have a great influence on the
quality of goose down. For birds of the north, down is a guarantee of their survival.
The harsher the climate in the place where they live, the larger and more lush their
down, the more valuable it is for the producer. Fluff obtained from Russian
waterfowl grown in cold climates is most valuable in its qualities (larger, higher
fluff content in raw materials) and compares favorably with fluff produced, for
example, in China.
That is why the main suppliers of raw materials of
premium categories for PE Sankova M.G. are personal
subsidiary farms of the Orenburg region. When
handing over the puffer mixture, individuals provide a
certificate of the presence of a subsidiary farm in
which poultry is grown.

Our productionThe structural unit of our company is a
laboratory that allows determining the
quality of raw materials and finished products
at any stage of production. The potential
production volume is 120-150 tons of
finished products per year. Until the
beginning of 2022, the main consumers of
down-and-feather mixture were the EU
countries. Since the beginning of the SMO,
the delivery of goods in this direction has
become unprofitable due to the fall in the
exchange rate of foreign currencies, the rise
in the cost of cargo transportation, and a
sharp reduction in the number of transport
companies that have the opportunity to cross
the EU border.
7.
Our productionOur company produces down-and-feather mixtures
of the most valuable varieties on Italian and
German equipment: white goose, gray goose,
goose/duck. Also, our production has the
possibility of processing cheaper raw materials –
chicken feathers, which are also actively used in
the sewing production of the cheaper segment.
The finished products are packed in polypropylene
bags, which are subsequently pressed for shipment
to the buyer. Our company has experience in
cooperation with major Russian and international
transport companies.

Our plansOur short-term plans:
-development of our own small-capacity motor vehicle
fleet for cargo transportation in Russia;
- increase in production capacity by updating production
lines and increasing warehouse space.
In the conditions of the global crisis, entering the
Asian market will allow our company to stay afloat,
production volumes will remain and, possibly,
increase, and, consequently, tax revenues to the
budget, the number of jobs will remain at the same
level.
