Stress —specific reaction of the body to the effects of various adverse factors(physical, emotional, psychological). Under stress, the sympathetic nervous
system is activated, which leads to the release of stress hormones — adrenaline,
norepinephrine and cortisol. It can be acute (short-term) or chronic (long-term).
