Production Task
Background
Speech Graphics works with some of the largest game studios in the
world. As a Speech Graphics Producer, you will need to have experience
with video game art production pipelines to effectively communicate with,
and support, our clients.
Scenario
You’re an Art Producer on an action adventure game featuring anime
characters from a popular manga series. The game has been in production
for three years and is currently in Alpha play testing.
It is due to be released in six months. Feedback gathered during play
testing indicates that the players do not feel that the art style of the
characters is in-line with the characters of the series.
Because of this, the Executive Producer (EP) and Creative Director (CD)
want to update the character style across all 32 characters in the game.
The updates that they are requesting would require updates to the
characters’ mesh, textures, and possibly rig to go from looking 3D (see
image 1) to a more stylized and 2D looking anime style (see image 2).

Your job is to help the EP and CD determine what is possible in the time
left to achieve this change.
Instructions
Prepare a report (in English ~500 words max) for the Executive Producer
and Creative Director with the following:
01 Identify and give a brief explanation of the Production risks
associated with making a large stylistic change to the characters so
close to launch.
02 With the Production risks identified, what recommendations would
you make to the EP and CD to reduce overall project risk
