Big Berchikul (lake)
Lake on the left bank of the middle reaches of the Dudet River. It is located on the
territory of the Utinsky rural settlement in the Tisulsky district. The largest lake in
the Kemerovo region. Length 8 km and width up to 4 km.

The variety of natural conditions on the shores of the Big
Berchikul Lake is really surprising. In the geological structure
here we see igneous, marine sedimentary rocks. On the shores,
one can observe an interesting phenomenon of contact, the
junction of rocks of various formations, which is generally
inherent in the Kuznetsk Alatau with its complex geotectonics.
Bottom lake sediments are well represented here: sands and silts.
Four natural landscapes are also visible: mountain-taiga,
mountain-light-coniferous, forest-steppe and lake-river.

Kuzbass State Museum of Local Lore
The museum was founded in 1929. Originally housed in the building
of the Palace of Culture in the city of Shcheglovsk.
Since 1932, after the renaming of Shcheglovsk, it has been called the
Kemerovo Museum of Local Lore. During the Great Patriotic War,
the museum exposition was located in different buildings of the city
of Kemerovo. After the war, the collection returned to the Palace of
Labor.

Museum of F. M. Dostoevsky in Novokuznetsk
The Literary and Memorial Museum of F. M. Dostoevsky is one of the seven
museums of the writer in the territory of the former USSR and the only
literary museum in the south of Kuzbass, located in the historical part of the
city of Novokuznetsk on the street. Dostoevsky in house number 40, where
Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky lived in 1857.
