Mexico is a country of contrasts
What unites the tribes of the Aztecs, the
Maya, the Spanish colonial conquest, a
sombrero and a burrito?

Now it is a modern and actively developing Latin American
country, which is famous not only for its, beautiful nature and
warm climate, but also for its good quality of life. Mexico is a
country of sharp impressions where young people can get
wonderful education.

Education in Mexico
•elementary school (grades 1-6)
•high school (grades 7-9)
•"preparatoria", or academic school (grades 10-12)

In order to go to the Medical University the applicant must
provide a certificate as a result of academic achievement or if he
is a foreign applicant, he must pass exams in English, Spanish,
Biology and Chemistry.

The National Autonomous University
of Mexico
The National Autonomous University of was founded in
1551. And School of Medicine was founded in 1553 as a
part of the Royal and Pontifical University. It is one of the
oldest medical school in America.

departments. The curriculum does not differ much from the
scientific base in other countries

"Titulo de Medico Cirujano"
Students should study 5 years and if they want get a narrow
specialty, they must study for another 2 years. The other way is
graduates study in postgraduate course for 2 years. After this they
get Master's Degree in medicine (MD) under the title "Titulo de
Medico Cirujano" (diploma of a doctor-surgeon).

many others subjects and specialties

Education and accommodation in Mexico are not very
expensive. The National Autonomous University of Mexico is
government-financed. Undergraduate tuition is less than 1,000 $
for one academic year. Studying for a master's degree costs more
than 1000$. Even if you are on a budget you must contribute 150
$ for each academic year. The cost of accommodation ranges from
358 to 700 $ at month
