Sydney Opera House is Australia’s number one tourist destination
located in Sydney, one of the world’s busiest performing arts centres.
There are more
than 1 million
roof tiles. They
were made in
Sweden.
The temperature must be 22.5
degrees to ensure the
instruments stay in tune.
It took 14 years to build the
theatre. Sydney Opera House was
opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 20th
October, 1973.
More than 10.9 million people visit
the Opera House every year.

The most beautiful thing you can see in Australia is Ulury. It is a very big rock situated in the desert. It is three km long and 348 meters
high. And there are TWO km more under the ground!
Made of sandstone, Uluru is often referred to as the heart of the ‘Red Centre’ and is one of Australia’s most recognisable landmarks.
Breathe in, see the colours change before your eyes, hear the stories of time and be amazed as Uluru captures your heart.
Ulury is 600 million years old. It is
unique. And millions of tourists
visit this natural wonder every
year.
It belongs to Australian aborigines
and is a very special place to them.
The best time to see the rock
is in the end of the day –
when it colour changes from
yellow to gold, red and
purple.
