This is a historical work, which I read with pleasure.
In the novel raised important topics: war and peace,
betrayal and loyalty to the Homeland, friendship and
betrayal, is also a love story. Before the reader
reveals the identity of Pugachev. Against the
background of the historical figure, we observe the
life of the characters, worry about them, sympathize.
The main idea of the novel is expressed in its
epigraph. The main characters Peter Grinev
adequately passes through all the vicissitudes of life,
he Matures and grows morally. He carried out his
father's order and remained honest man.
