5. History.
HISTORY.The village was founded in 1897 in connection with the
construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway. The village is known
as the eponymous village, located on the right bank of the cap,
which appeared at the end of the XVI century. There are two
versions of the origin of the name "Balezino". On one of them,
not the confirmed documentary, in 1586 the king Fyodor
Ivanovich for faithful service in Siberia has given on the right
side of the land Cheptsa brothers Daniel and Elizar Balezin.
According to another version, the name "Balezino" comes from
the words bala connection Udmurt "sheep" and sin "eye, the
eye," ie, literally - "sheep's eye." So they called the place where
beats spring.
The status of urban-type settlement assigned to 26 October
1938.
