Shatskyi National Park
This Ukrainian National Park was
created in 1983. It was declared a
Biosphere Reserve in the year
2002. Within the borders of the
park there are 23 lakes, the
largest is Svityaz (deepest and
biggest in Ukraine). Clircling the
lakes are pine forests, home to 61
IUCN Red List species both of
fauna and flora.

Established on June 3rd, 1980 is
Carpathian National Nature Park
whose primary goal was to protect the
Carpathian Mountains landscape.
Carpathian National Nature Park is the
biggest park in Ukraine. The landscape
of the park consists of Alpine
meadows and forests.
