Is a Czech professional ice hockey rightwinger for the Calgary Flames of the National
Hockey League. He has played in the NHL with
the Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington
Capitals, New York Rangers, Philadelphia
Flyers, Dallas Stars, Boston Bruins, New Jersey
Devils and Florida Panthers, serving as captain of
the Penguins and the Rangers.
After leaving the Rangers, he played three
seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL)
with Avangard Omsk before returning to the NHL
with the Flyers.

the highest levelof competition in Czechoslovakia for HC Kladno, and when he was 17,
he became the youngest member of the Czechoslovak national team.

productive European player who has ever played in the NHL and
is considered one of the greatest professional hockey players of
all time. In 1990, at age 18, he was the youngest player in the
NHL. Currently, at age 45, he is the oldest player in the NHL,
and is the oldest player to record a hat trick. On January 27,
2017, in a ceremony during the All-Star Weekend in Los
Angeles, Jágr was part of the second group of players to be
named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history.
