Conclusion. In concluding ,I want to say the preceding discussion of
xenophobia is summarized and it is shown how both
emotion and reason play a role in xenophobia. It is
argued that xenophobia has been misdiagnosed as a
‘human problem’—to be remedied by controlling
humans, either by educating them or channeling their
movements, etc. While human factors play a role —
argues that xenophobia is a structural problem, related
to power, and hence it calls for structural solutions.
