Read the stories about backpacking and list the reasons why people
travel.
I can’t express how watching this has hit me. It’s been 5 years since I did my last 5 month trip
through Vietnam and Thailand. I’m planning on leaving in a few months finally, to think I was
22 when I left Vietnam. And I’ll be return as a 27 year old. Quitting a successful career and
selling everything but my camera gear and a laptop. This film encompasses everything travel
is or was to me.
What a great experience, and a beautiful story. I am also dutch and during college I've had
the opportunity to stay in both the US and China for a year, it enriched my mind so much that
I cannot get away from that feeling. Currently I work in a corporate environment as a
salesmanager but recently everything in me is itching to pack my bags and leave. Aside from
working 40 hours, I became a freelancer in my spare time and have my sources of income set
up from doing this. I'll leave early next year. The value of living abroad, experiencing amazing
things, is worth more than anything I own where I live currently. There is no time like present.
