• Electric Forest is a multi-genre music festival produced by Madison House
Presents and Insomniac Events, with a focus on electronic music and jam band
genres.
It happens in a small town called Rothbury,
Michigan. The whole festival is at a big resort
called the Double JJ Ranch.
The 2026 festival will be the 14th Electric Forest and runs
from Thursday, June 25th to Sunday, June 28th, 2026.
Where is it and what is it

There are a bunch of stages with live music. They play mostly
electronic and jam band music. A famous band called The String
Cheese Incident plays there every year.
It’s not just about bands. There are art pieces everywhere,
fun workshops, and funny hidden shows. It feels like
walking through a magical, colorful dream.

: The heart of the festival is Sherwood Forest. By day, it’s a
place to relax among hammocks and hidden art. By night, it
transforms with mesmerizing light displays, secret parties,
roaming performers, and fantastical installations, making the
environment as much a part of the show as the music itself .
