Expressions to Accept Offers
принять предложение
The following expressions to accept offers can be used in both conversational or
formal settings:
“I’d love to/some.
Thank you.”
“I’d like that.
Thank you.”
“That would be
nice/lovely/great.”
You can include “Yes, please.” at the beginning of these sentences to make them
more complete.
“That is very kind
of you. Thank you.”
This expression is
slightly more formal!

Formal Expressions to Accept Offers
Discuss with a partner the contexts and situations where you might receive formal
offers, and how you could answer politely and appropriately.
Some contexts where you might receive a formal offer are formal social events,
and academic or business settings, such as meetings, interviews or job
collaborations.
Read the following examples to formally accept an offer:
“Thank you for the job/scholarship offer. I would like to accept. Can you send me
more information about the position?”
“Thank you for inviting me to participate in [event]. I’m happy to accept.”
“I’m delighted to accept your kind invitation to [event].”
