Preliminary summary descriptionData quality and correlation
The recorded MBTT data has good quality. Correlation was done based on the open hole gamma ray provided by the client. All depths are in mbdf.
3 ½” & 4 ½” tubing
The tubing has minor corrosion at 774.6-776.5 mbdf and 1338.0-1343.5 mbdf. Ther is an interval of possible metal loss at 889.9-891.8 mbdf unless attributable to
specific localized pipe properties or over-magnetize effect. There are multiple zones of severe eccentricity between the 3.5” tubing and the 9 5/8” casing at 946.01010.0 mbdf and 1031.0-1424.0 mbdf. This effect may be reflected in thickness calculation accuracy for the 1st and 2nd barriers. Each tubing join has two-overmagnetized areas leading to increased level of the signal fluctuation across the MBTT4 channels corresponding to the 1st barrier which may affect the accuracy of the
tubing metal loss calculation and mask localized corrosion intervals. Tubing packer assembly was detected at 1303.5-1309.4 mbdf.
7” scab/production liner
The liner has no corrosion (above the accuracy of calculation for the second barrier (7%). The gap between scab and production liners was detected at 1314.8-1316.3
mbdf. The effect of over-magnetization from the 3.5” tubing increases the level of the signal fluctuation across the MBTT4 channels corresponding to the 2nd barrier ,
which may affect the accuracy of the liner metal loss calculation and mask localized corrosion intervals.
9 5/8” intermediate casing
The casing has no corrosion (above the accuracy of calculation for the second barrier (10%). The effect of over-magnetization from the 3.5” tubing increases the level
of the signal fluctuation across the MBTT4 channels corresponding to the 3rd barrier , which may affect the accuracy of the casing metal loss calculation and mask
localized corrosion intervals. The casing shoe was detected at 1374.6 mbdf.
13 3/8” surface casing
Since the 13 3/8” casing is the 4th pipe in this configuration, thickness and metal loss were not calculated. The casing shoe was detected at 800.4 mbdf.

The MBTT is an electromagnetic-based corrosion tool that provides an average circumference metal loss calculation. The
accuracy of the metal loss calculation is 5% for the 1st barrier, 7% for the 2nd barrier, and 10% for the 3rd barrier.
