• My college
• My name is Ann. I’m sixteen years old. I live in Orenburg, Russia. I graduated from my
high school two years ago and entered Orenburg College of Economics and Computer
Science. It is one of the best colleges in the city. Besides, I wanted to study IT after school. I
really like this college and some of my close friends study here.
• The entrance requires for admission 9 years or 11 years of secondary schooling. I study
such subjects as English, Physical Education, Maths, Computer Science, Web
development, Programming, and others.
• Our college is rather well equipped. There is a large sports ground outside and one gym
inside. There is a canteen.
• Our college was founded in 1941. At first it was vocational school No. 6. On August 24,
1966 a statistical technical school was opened here. Then it has become Orenburg College of
Economics and Computer Science since 2014.
• Today, the college provides basic and advanced training in such specialties as IT specialists,
Banking, Accounting, Software Development, Advertising, Graphics Designing, and so
on.
• I’m very proud to be a student of this college.
