In Great Britain school begins at the age of five.
Many boys and girls usually leave school at the age of
sixteen.

At infant schools children learn how to get on.
Before classes they sing a nice song.
They draw, play games ,read fairy tales,
jump, run and have a lot of fun!

to junior school,

In Britain at the end of each term school sends a report
to parents. It has the pupil’s marks in all subjects and

At the age of 11 children go to secondary school. They
study there for 6 years. At the age of 16 they pass
GCSE exam. They can either leave school or continue
their education for 2 years. Students pass A-level exam
at the age of 18.
