1 - roofs
• All roofs of buildings need to be built with a
full cover of solar cells. If the company requires more
electricity for its own demand it has to pay a fine. This money is used for
compensational electricity projects in Zambia.
• The entire rainfall onto the roof has to be
collected. It has to be stored on site, in an underground cistern and
made available to the community as drinking water for free. This is a
minimum sign of respect and thankfulness to the Zambian people for
sharing their land and resources. It is non-negotiable

examples – full cover solar roofs

example – high volume water storage for large roofs

2 - ground
• The entire remaining property apart from the
roofs needs to be used for rainwater
harvesting, as well.
The water collected from the ground must be stored on site and be used
for the company‘s own demand. This requires a lower water quality and
can be done with on open storage facility which is adequate for large
volumes of water.
