Shangha
Shangi is a the national Komi dish whose filling is made from cottage cheese or potatoes. The
filling itself is not inside, but outside. Shanga is round in shape and therefore they are very
recognizable by the Komi people. Shanga is easy to cook. They are quite satisfying. You can
have breakfast or even lunch with them! I really like the taste .

Shangas recipe
Dough recipe :

Cow’s milk-500 milliliters

Dry yeast-11 gramms

Sugar-1 tablespoon

Salt- ½ tablespoon

Cream-1 tablespoon

Vegetable oil-50 millilitres

Flour-800 gramms

Chicken eggs-2 pieces

Butter-70 gramms
lubrication:

Chicken egg-1 pieces

Cream-1 tablespoon.

How to cook?
To prepare our shangas, we need 500 milliliters of cow’s milk, we add it first. Next- you
need 100 milliliters water. Then add, then send dry yeast, you need 11 gramms. Then
take 1 tablespoon of sugar and about ½ tablespoon of salt. And alse we need 1
tablespoon of cream. And then put 50 ml vegetable oil. In the end put 800 grams flour.
For the filling we need 1 kg approximately potato and alse two chicken eggs and 70
grams butter.
For lubrication: only one chicken egg and cream one tablespoon.
