It is a statistical measure of national power created by J.
David Singer for the Correlates of War project in 1963. It
uses the average percentage of six different world
indicators:
• TPR - total population of country ratio
• UPR - urban population of country ratio
• ISPR - iron and steel production of country ratio
• ECR - primary energy consumption ratio
• MER - military expenditure ratio
• MPR - military personnel ratio

1. The first sheet: data table
2. “Country dict” - dictionary of all countries by abbreviations and ID
3. “Per year analysis” - sheet with countries by max and min values by year
4. “Per year analysis plots” - with graphs by values
5. “Pivot table” - pivot table by country and average values of indicators
6. “Quick find” - you can quickly find information (values by country and year)
7. “Find cell” - search for values in the “Data” sheet by cell name
8. “Data USA” - information filtered for that country only
9. “USA Analysis” - worksheet with analysis of information for that country

As a result of the joint work done, our team came to
the conclusion that CINC is a convenient indicator for
comparing different countries in different years. It can
tell a lot about the state of affairs in the country, as the
indicators represent demographic, economic and
military power.

acceptable methods for measuring national
potential"
