INSTALL GUIDE
LA Canyons 1.2 - Main
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ
The Main Version must be installed before installing any optional VIP Extras
1. REMOVE ANY PREVIOUS VERSIONS
Delete any previous versions of the 'la_canyons' folder from the tracks folder
e.g. steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks folder
2. INSTALL MAIN VERSION
a) If using Content Manager or JSGME
i) Copy the ‘MODS’ folder:
From: the 7zip file provided (you may need to download the 7zip program to install)
Into: your root Assetto Corsa folder e.g. steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa
* this will also install the Hide Pit Crew & Highway Patrol Skins modules
ii) Enable ‘LA Canyons 1.2 – Main’ within your chosen programme
iii) If required, enable Hide Pit Crew/Highway Patrol Skins from available mods list (recommended)
b) If Manually Installing
Copy the ‘content’ folder:
From: MODS\LA Canyons 1.2 – Main
Into: your root Assetto Corsa folder e.g. steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa
* You will need to install the Hide Pit Crew & Highway Patrol Skins separately (see below)
i) Hide Pit Crew (Manual Install Only)
i) Back-up the original files (as this ‘module’ replaces default Assetto Corsa files)
File Location: steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\objects3D
File Names: pitcrew.kn5, pitcrew_Left.kn5
ii) Copy the ‘content’ folder:
From: MODS\LA Canyons 1.2 - Hide Pit Crew
Into: your root Assetto Corsa folder e.g. steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa
* when installing, allow requested files to be overwritten
N.B. I include a back-up of the default Assetto Corsa files, as a last resort option
ii) Highway Patrol Skins (Manual Install Only)
Copy the ‘content’ folder:
From: MODS\LA Canyons 1.2 - Highway Patrol Skins
Into: your root Assetto Corsa folder e.g. steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa
GENERAL INFORMATION
Each Layout Folder Contains:
• 'Information_*.txt' document for all available layouts, with details of AI, Track Camera availability,
timing and pit box numbers/locations (useful for server admins).
• Area Map - with location names and landmarks (useful when working out pit box locations)
