Description of project activities.
Description of project activities Currently, the problem of learning English is
particularly acute in connection with the development of scientific and
technological progress and the demand for specialists with knowledge of a foreign
language in the labor market. And only a few people speak English. If you go online
and ask for information about the most frequently asked questions regarding our
topic, "How to learn English quickly?“ it is one of the most relevant.
We have studied the most commonly recommended methods:
Traditional
Memorizing before sleeping
Listening
Kinaesthetic method
Associations
Dividing and combining
Cards
Below is a transcript of each method:

6.

Memorizing before sleeping :
Make a list of new words (maximum number-20 words. The procedure is carried out only
before going to bed).Concentrate on memorizing words.Read a couple of times the
word itself and the translation and imagine this word as real and vivid in your
imagination. Repeat the word in a whisper, then himself, with his eyes closed.
Listening:
On tape to record about 40 new words with translation. Set the recorder to medium
volume and listen to the recording many times. Do other things without concentrating
on the text.
Kinaesthetic method:
Correlate an English word with a real object. Every time you speak a word, take the
object that is associated with it and perform an action with it.
Associations:
Find a bright distinctive mark in the word. To pick up to the studied English word the
word similar in sounding only in Russian. Draw in the imagination of a colorful story
picture. For example, you learn the word "snack", in Russian you found a similarsounding word-snow, and this word is translated as a snack. Imagine that you take out
of the refrigerator some kind of snack, which is covered with a plate and on top of the
plate is snow.

7.

Figurative way:
Find a bright distinctive mark in the word. To pick up to the studied English word the
word similar in sounding only in Russian. Draw in the imagination of a colorful story
picture. For example, you learn the word "snack", in Russian you found a similar-sounding
word-snow, and this word is translated as a snack. Imagine that you take out of the
refrigerator some kind of snack, which is covered with a plate and on top of the plate is
snow.
Center-combinative method:
Break the word into 2-3 parts (depending on the syllables). For each part you need to
pick up a similar sounding beginning of the word in Russian. Russian words need to be
combined into one phrase that should make sense .The translation of the whole English
word that we need to remember should be contained at the end of the phrase.
Example: the English word sinister is sinister. (A BLUE mist spread over the field, OMINOUS)
Theme cards:
Takes some text (some kind of conversational topic, a newspaper article,
etc.).Unfamiliar words and expressions are selected from the text and written on paper
cards (on one side of the card - the English word, and on the other - the translation).

8.

Conclusion
In conclusion, we will make brief conclusions. The new language is not
only an extension of our consciousness and Outlook, it is also a huge
benefit in life. Especially since English is known to be considered
international. Someone English (and sometimes not only English) is given
so easily, as if a person grew up in an English-speaking environment. But
most people, unfortunately, have to work hard to master at least its
basics. If you have already started to learn a language, think about
what way to try it yourself and try to implement it, then even this
attempt will improve your knowledge. And any successful enterprise
requires systematic investment. Therefore, choosing one of the
methods, it is necessary to constantly apply it and then there will be a
stable result .There are many techniques, methods and strategies,
which are also like all people – individual. The main thing today is to
have a desire, the main thing to want!
