I want to catch a leprechaun this St. Patrick’s Day, because Ithink a leprechaun will be fun to play with and get a pot of gold. A
leprechaun could teach me new games. He can even show me some
tricks.
I will try to catch a leprechaun by setting a trap. I used a cup, a
rope, a pencil, and candy for my trap. First, I tied a rope to the stick.
Then I balanced the cup on top of the stick and put a piece of candy
under the cup. When I see the leprechaun coming, I am going to pull
the rope so the cup will land on him.
I will wait all night and fall asleep with the rope in my hand. When I
wake up, I hope I catch the leprechaun. But, I know they are quick and
sly. If I don’t catch him this year, I can always try again next year!
