Second name Washington –
"District of Columbia" (District
of Columbia). Locals call the city
"DC" or add this abbreviation to
the official name of the city, so

Monument to George Washington. A
single pole on a huge lawn. It was
once the tallest building in the

The residence of the President

the "White House" by the
residents of Washington. It was
originally called the "Presidential
Palace". President Theodore

There are squirrel bridges in Longview
In Longview, there are several bridges
built specifically for protein. The first
bridge, named Nutty Narrows, was
built in 1963 by a local builder Amos
Peters to help the squirrels cross the
busy street. The bridge was so
popular with squirrels, residents, and
tourists that four more were built in
different styles
