SCHOLARSHIPS
Non-EU/EEA citizens (excl. Switzerland) required to pay
a tuition fee of EUR 10 000 / academic year
All the LUT Master’s Programmes are offering Tuition Fee Waivers
…but all the programmes are NOT offering Full Scholarships
Possibility to apply for LUT Tuition Fee Waiver
1. 100 % Tuition Fee Waiver
Covering the tuition fee by 100%
Tuition Fee Waivers awarded in the order of the highest points
scored in the selection process
Once the decisions for the Tuition Fee Waivers are made, there will
be no reconsidering done or changes made to them
2. 50% Tuition Fee Waiver
Covering the tuition fee by 50%
Can be applied for on the application form for the Master's
Programme
3. Full Scholarship
Highly limited number available, if any
Covering the tuition fee by 100% + the living expenses
up to EUR 560/month for 10 months/academic year

11.

VALIDITY FOR THE LANGUAGE TEST
Test result must be valid on the first day of the application period = on December 1, 2020
All the accepted language tests are valid for 3* years from the date of taking the test
*Exceptionally valid for 3 years instead of the normal 2 years due to COVID-19
SUBMITTING THE TEST RESULT
E-mailing a copy or screen shot to LUT Admissions Services by February 26, 2021 at 15:00 (UTC+2)
NOTE: The test result must be made electronically available to LUT by the test organizer so that we can
check the result from the test organizer’s database.
The codes for doing that can be requested from LUT Admissions Services.

12.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS
A scan for the original Degree Certificate (B.Sc.)
A scan for the orginal Transcript of Records (B.Sc.)
A scan for an up-to-date original for the Transcript of Records (M.Sc.)
+ Translations in English for all these documents (if applicable)
If not able to scan the original document, an officially certified copy to be provided

Only if not able to e-mail LUT a scan for the original document
ALL COPIES FOR EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS MUST BE:
Officially certified by the awarding university or the present home university

A plain copy of an officially certified copy is NOT accepted
Officially certified by Notary Public

Each page of every document must bear an original stamp/seal and signature of the certifying officer

TRANSLATIONS
ALL TRANSLATIONS FOR EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS CAN BE DONE:
By the applicant
– but must be officially certified by the awarding university or, the present home university

A translation without the original stamp of the university NOT accepted
By an official translator

Each page of every document must bear an original stamp/seal and signature of the official translator

15.

HOW TO APPLY?
A contact person in the home university provides LUT Admissions Services
with a list of students applying to the programme
LUT Admissions Services e-mails the nominated student a link to his/her personal application form
Student fills in the application form and submits it online
Student e-mails the application form + all the required documents to [email protected]
by the DL of February 26, 2021 at 15:00 (UTC+2)
No additional supplementary period + late documents will not be accepted

16.

LUT CHECKING THE APPLICATION
LUT Admissions Services will check the eligibility and the documents
LUT will notify the applicant by e-mail after having processed the documents

…and send him/her a request to supplement the application, if necessary
The student must be able to supplement the application
by the application DL of February 26, 2021 at 15:00 (UTC+2)
= No additional supplementary period after the DL
Applications without all the required documents e-mailed to LUT as they have been requested
by the given DL will automatically be rejected as incomplete applications

17.

EVALUATIONS & INTERVIEWS
A limited number of Double Degree applicants to be admitted
Applications evaluated by the Admissions Committee for each programme
All the eligible applicants will go through a video interview or Skype interview
as part of the evaluation/selection process
To be admitted, an eligible Double Degree applicant must score
at least 70% of the maximum points for the interview

18.

STUDENT SELECTIONS
LUT student selections will be published on April 15, 2021
Admitted students will be first informed by e-mail about the admission result and scholarship decision
…and then, e-mailed the Certificate of Admission, Decision for a Tuition Fee Waiver and other documents
Non-admitted applicants will only be informed by e-mail about their admission result
