number of people involved in online
communication is steadily growing.

• The methods developed in linguistics allow to
research and describe the forms and ways of
presenting information in the online space,
language formalization of statements, verbal
means used by communicants when
discussing topics that provoke intercultural
and interethnic disputes in cyber socium.

• Researchers are most interested in online
commentary, as comments allow users to
express their opinions and points of view in
response to any given stimulus in the Internet
space.

• Identifying social and ethnic groups that cause
negative attitudes, as well as those or other
socio-cultural groups that are actively entering
into mutual conflicts in cyberspace, is
necessary to ensure the security of society
and the territorial integrity of Russia.

• Currently, social networks can be seen an
increase in inter-ethnic conflicts caused by
demographic, economic, religious, political
and other factors. Timely analysis of these
factors seems to us an extremely necessary
condition for the healthy development of
society, which requires the active
implementation of linguistics and sociology in
the process of collecting and processing
language materials from online sources.
