Construction of the residence began in 2001. Work on the
project led well-known architects of Europe and Kazakhstan,
among them renowned European designers and M.Gualatsi
A.Molteni. Interior in traditional style was carried out in
consultation academician K.Montahaeva. Above the

workers 26 nationalities.

The official presentation of the new residence of the President of the
Republic of Kazakhstan took place December 24, 2004. The total
building area is 36,720 square meters, its height with a spire -. 86 m
building of five aboveground and two underground floors are
made of reinforced concrete with the most modern construction
techniques and advanced engineering equipment. The height of the
first floor is 12 meters.

Government, heads of departments of the Presidential Administration, akims of oblasts and Astana
and Almaty cities, heads of ministries and departments, as well as the meetings of the Head of State
with representatives of business circles of the republic.
- Negotiations Hall is used for meetings and discussions Head of Administration of the President of
RK, RK President's aide with foreign delegations, ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in
the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of foreign business circles. - Library, where a unique
