2. Problem Definition

-7 parts of Phase-1 stage have thinning problem , 5 of them have 2 points out of tolerance , 2
of them 1 point out of tolerance.
-Thinning reports have been compared with simulation reports , related points are similar on
simulation and produced parts.
-In order to eliminate problems , radiusses have increased by including tolerance limits , die
spotting and polishing have been improved , trials are still on going.

11. CONCLUSION

-Related radiusses have been increased by including tolerance (+2mm) in order to eliminate
thinning problem , but thinning values on defined areas are still out of the limit.
-In order to eliminate thinning problems , the related radiusses shall be increased more than
tolerance , but it might be cause problem during the hemming , shall be checked by
assembly side , also it may not exactly solved the issue %100.
-During the serial production trials (125 parts part produced without any stop), cracks or any
surfaces problems have not been occured on defined areas , thinning values are stable.
