Angel Falls
Angel Falls  is a waterfall in Venezuela. It is the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 979 metres and a plunge of 807 metres.
The drop height is so great that before reaching the ground, water is sprayed on the smallest particles and turns into mist. The mist can be felt a few kilometers from the waterfall!
To get to the waterfall is not easy, as it is located in a lush tropical forest. And there are no roads leading to it. You can get there only by air or river.
The waterfall has been known as the "Angel Falls" since the Mid-20th century; they are named after Jimmie Angel, a US aviator, who was the first person to fly over the falls. He flew over the area and landed on top of a lonely mountain in search of gold.
His plane "Flamingo" stuck in the swampy jungle on top The plane Jimmy angel remained in the jungle for 33 years until it was lifted by helicopter. Currently he is in the Aviation Museum in Maracay.
