First year. Victories and challenges

1.

First year: victories and
challenges
Alex Kocherov 101A IR.

2.

My opinion on the first year:
For me it hasn’t really been challenging, it was unusual at first as I had to wake early everyday, take a bus,
spend a lot of time doing homework. I haven’t really been a work-working student as I’ve missed a lot of
classes but I tried to prioritize what is important to me and what is not even though it’s my duty to attend all
the classes and do every homework.
I really like this place and I want to stay here, some teachers are amazing such as our english teacher. She
has always been kind and polite to everyone and she could always get into your situation. I think every
teacher should be like her. As for the other teacher, not everyone of them was as good as our english
teacher.

Victories
Challenges

4.

Victories:
I’ve learnt a lot of new this year. I’ve gotten better at a lot of
subjects such as maths, history and especially english. I have
also made a lot of new friends which are really good.
I’m happy to have spent a year here.

Challenges
It was really hard at the beginning when I had to wake earlier
than had to when I was at school. It was really exhausting
when I had to wait for a bus which was always crowded with
people. It took me an hour to get to the university, thankfully,
now it takes less.
As for the studying process, it’s been really hard to learn new
subjects and the ones I’m good at, such as russian and maths.

6.

Conclusion:
I really like this place even though it has its cons and pros but
it was my decision to study here and I don’t regret a day I’ve
spent here. Looking forward to the second year
