5. The Present Continuous

Stative verbs are not used in continuous forms:
appear, resemble, seem, be, exist, forget, like.
understand, realise, know, believe, love, hate, need, doubt,
imagine, have, suppose, prefer, own, possess, hear, smell,
sound, taste, concern, cost, fit, notice, see, look, want, wish
