One of the first museums of geology, oil and gas was discovered in Tyumen. It introduces visitors to the new era in the history of the Tyumen land

It first established a chronology of exploration that took place in Tyumen region in the period from 1930 to 1950.

In the museum you can see the life of the indigenous population of this region - Khanty, Mansi, and Nenets.

Here you can find samples of clothing, household items, as well as recreated examples of residential and commercial buildings.

Also, it contains a collection of rare and valuable mineral resources found in the territory of the Tyumen region in different periods of time.

But the most interesting is in the center of the room. Here is placed the map of Tyumen region, made in detail and made entirely of precious stones.
