Walking in the jungle – Super Simple Songs
Songs
I use the song during classes in order to learn the animals and
the children like it. They can move and dance and even act a
little.
What I have noticed is that they prefer and respond better to
songs that have more rhythm

Socrative
Oana Mila
Școala Gimnazială Nr. 8 Sibiu
I see Socrative as a tool designed to simplify the teacher’s work in
and out of class. I use it:
during revision time before a test
to measure Ss’ progress
for group activities (you can launch a race between different
groups)

14.

Personal Experience
Socrative can be:
• Installed on any Smartphone, iPhone,
• Accessed from any laptop, Computer
Each student can use his/ her mobile phone during the activity
Activities in groups -1 phone/ each group of 3 Students

15.

What can I do with Socrative?
Launch a “space race” where different groups get to
compete for the 1st place. They have to solve
various types of exercises:
Multiple choice exercises
True/ False exercises
Fill in the gaps exercises
Short answer

16.

Pros
Cons
•Ss can see right away where
they gave the wrong answer
• Teachers can attach an
explanation so Ss know
exactly where and what they
did wrong
• Through the charts offered
by Socrative Teachers know
right away where Ss
encountered problems
• Some Ss might not have a
Smartphone
• Some Ss work faster than
others and the T might need
to set them an extra task
• can not be accessed out of
class

17.

Student’s progress
In the results box Teachers find out how the class did as a whole,
but also what each Ss did individually

Technology is just a tool. In terms of
getting the kids working together and
motivating them, the teacher is the
most important.
