The South East England

The South East England is one of the most visited regions of the United
Kingdom, being situated around the English capital city London and located
closest to the Continent.

• The largest city in the region is Brighton and Hove. The dominant
influence on the region’s economy is neighboring London.

The highest point is Walbury Hill in Berkshire at 297 meters. But don’t
think that geographical convenience is the only reason for its popularity;

• There is also a lot of industry near the Thames and there are a lot of
roads and motorways.
