Introducing a digital platform that
connects entrepreneurs with investors,
addressing funding challenges for
innovative ventures. Entrepreneurs
seek financial backing, while investors
seek lucrative projects.
Aligning these needs the platform
aims to bridge entrepreneurs and
investors, providing a space for
showcasing innovative ideas and
financial plans. Meanwhile, investors
can explore potential startups in
detail, seeking thorough insights and
expert evaluations.

OBJECTIVES
Conduct a literature survey and explore the challenges of the startup’s ecosystem and
investment landscape. Analyze the existing gaps and hardships in correlation of entrepreneurs
and investors.
Investigate and categorize the diverse type of investors and specify their roles contributions, risktolerance and decision-making techniques in collaboration with startups.
Define the purpose of web platforms in the dynamics of startup fundraising. Additionally, examine
current platforms and assess their unique proposition in the market.
Develop a user-friendly web-based platform aimed at expediting deal-making between
entrepreneurs and investors. Ensure its design and functionality foster efficient sharing of ideas and
plans for entrepreneurs, while also providing investors with seamless discovery and evaluation of
potential startups.
Conduct an in-depth assessment of the platform, anticipating potential challenges in its operation.
Leverage connections to gather insights from experts and solicit feedback to address these
challenges.
Evaluate the provided prompts and devise potential strategies for their implementation in the ongoing
future development.

Front-end & Design
The project was designed using HTML, CSS
and
JavaScript.
The
ReactJs
was
implemented for responsive design and
interactive features.

Back-end
Summary:
To recap, the technical part of this project was implemented by
usage of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySql database with
XAMPP facilitating local server tool. Git virsion control was used to
track the changes within the code. Considering the data
manegement, its handled by MySql with Sql quieries. For the
safety measures authentification, encryption and input validation
were initiated.
PHP was used to build the backend
because of its relevance and flexibility.
Furthermore, its compatibility with MySQL
ensured unique operation and database
management.

The project adopted the Waterfall methodology
for its structured approach to development. This
method ensures a linear progression through
phases like data collection, design,
implementation, testing, deployment, and
maintenance. This approach was chosen for its
suitability in the dynamic startup environment,
allowing for a thorough execution of project goals.

The survey attended 15 participants: investors, entrepreneurs, and startup owners
ranging in age from 22 to 55.

Technical Challenge & Solution
• Database issues: The loading performance slowed, and database management was
temporarily lost, resulting in constant failures while retrieving or managing data. By
optimizing SQL queries, upgrading hardware components and distributing the workload
across multiple servers helped to resolve the issue.
• Mailing function: the aplied mail() function in PHP wasn’t responding to the requested
commands unless appropriate packages were instaled and configured. Such as composer
and PHP-Mailer with correct dependencies.
Experts’ insight
• Experts highlighted the flexibility of the website on any device, it’s navigation, searching
tool and function of switching the language.
• Experts cited a shortage of communication tools, emphasising the need for video
conferencing and live chat.
Future Strategies
• Implementation of machine learning to detect a fraudulent activities and optimize user
experience, including the development of bot chats.
• Development of personolized dashboards, introducing a blockchain technology for
secure transactions, and live chat sections to enhance operational efficiency

CONCLUSION
To summarize, our project has effectively solved the difficulties of the startup ecosystem and
investor landscape by developing a user-friendly web platform that links entrepreneurs with
investors. We created a system that supports fast deal-making and fosters stakeholder
engagement after doing extensive research, technical implementation, and expert input.
Moving forward, the identified future strategies, such as the use of machine learning and
blockchain technology, promise to improve the platform's functionality and operational
efficiency, assuring its long-term relevance and success in the dynamic business
landscape.
