State emblem Russian FederationThe state emblem of
Russia is one of the
main symbols of our
country, along with
the national anthem
and flag. The basis
of the coat of arms
of the Russian
Federation is a twoheaded eagle,
spreading wings. It
was approved in
1993 by decree of
President Boris
Yeltsin.

Three crowns in the coat ofarms represent the
sovereignty of the Russian
state.
The scepter and
Orb in his claws of
the eagle are
symbols of the
Supreme state
power.

striking a dragon ,
is nothing like the
image of St.
George, a symbol

The national anthem of the RussianFederation
The state anthem of the
Russian Federation is one of
the main official state
symbols of the Russian
Federation, along with the
flag and coat of arms. Music
and text were borrowed from
the anthem of the Soviet
Union, the tune to which was
composed by Aleksandr
Aleksandrov on poems by
Sergei Mikhalkov and
Gabriel El-Registan.

Order of official use of the anthem ofRussia is set forth in the Federal law,
signed by President Putin on 25
December 2000.
According to Russian copyright law,
state symbols are not objects of
copyrights, so the music and the
words of the hymn may be freely
used in other musical and other works
of art.
Typically, when the national anthem
everyone should stand up and listen
to it standing up.

The flag of the Russian FederationIs a rectangular cloth of three equal
horizontal bands: upper — white,
middle — blue and lower — red color.
Desecration of State flag of the
Russian Federation is a crime. Abuse
can be perpetrated by persons over the
age of 16.
The day of State flag of the Russian
Federation is celebrated annually on
August 22. It was established in 1994
by decree of the President of the
Russian Federation.
