What is Fast Fashion?"Fast Fashion" or "fast fashion" is a production model in which new collections appear in
stores almost every week. It is characterised by rapid copying of podium trends, the use of
cheap materials, low prices and huge production volumes, which stimulates constant updating
of the wardrobe.

Environmental disaster (Water)The fashion industry is the second largest consumer of water in the world. Imagine: it
takes up to 2700 litres of water to produce just one cotton T-shirt! In addition, mass
production leads to the pollution of rivers with toxic dyes in producing countries, which
has a catastrophic impact on aquatic ecosystems and the health of local residents.

Mountains of garbageWhen buying cheap clothes, we often wear them only a few times. As a result, a whole truck of
clothes is sent to the dump or to be burned every second. Things that we wore for a very short
time form whole "clothing cemeteries" in deserts, such as in Atacama, or pollute the shores of
Ghana, becoming a huge environmental problem.
