there?

cathedral in the world. The exterior of

Popular myths
about Germans
ž
Germans have absolutely no
sense of humor
ž
Wrong misconception, most likely
created by foreigners whose jokes
Germans did not react. Beer and
sausage lovers, like the rest of the
European nations, have a sense of
humor. However, each nation has
its own humor and has some
national characteristics.

7.

Germans are
stingy
ž
A small fraction of truth . Of
course, in Germany you
can find greedy people,
however this feature is
not national, but rather
personal. And not always
what can be called
greed.

Traditions in
Germany
ž
Oktoberfest
ž
German beer festival Oktoberfest. This is a
traditional Bavarian holiday,
where beer and fried meat
are consumed in incredible
quantities. Actually,
originally it was a local
tradition.

9.

Holiday costumes
ž
Germans generally like to dress
up. During Oktoberfest,
women wear a traditional
dress with laces and a
neckline, and they attach a
bow to it: if the bow is on the
left side, the woman is
single, and if it is on the right
side, the woman is married.
