The ancient Celtic peoples held a festival to say
goodbye to the year on 31 October, in autumn, whose
main characteristic if the falling of the leaves. For them
this meant the end of death or the commencement of a
new life. This teaching was passed down over the years
from generation to generation
The custom was to leave food and sweets outside their
houses by way of an offering. On the other hand, it was
common to light candles to help the souls of the dead
to find the path to light and rest
