Radio Tapok is a creative
pseudonym, the name of the band and
the YouTube channel of the same
name
by
multi—instrumentalist
musician Oleg Abramov, who creates
equirithmic
translations
of
famous
works, as well as rock versions of
Russian and Soviet songs. Since
2022, he began releasing his own
albums,
which
celebrate
historical
events, mainly from Russian history. A
distinctive feature of the covers is the
adaptation to the characteristic style of
the original artist, this has become one
of the reasons for his popularity.

In 2019, members of the Swedish metal band
Sabaton turned to Radio Tapok with a
request to cover the release of the song "The
Attack of the Dead Men", dedicated to the
"attack of the dead" on the Eastern Front of
World War I, from their new cycle Great War,
which was performed as a Russian cover
published on YouTube channel 18 July 2019
— one day earlier than the original song by
agreement with the band. According to the
