Autocom Japan Inc. does not make provision for these. Due to the distance involved in shipment of the unit(s), the customer must also note that the car battery may need to be recharged and tyre air pressure may also require to be attended to.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
When placing an order you have made an agreement that the terms and conditions below apply from the time that Autocom Japan Inc. ships your purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing by an authorized staff member of
Autocom Japan Inc.
1. Roll on Roll off (RORO)
11. Invoices
When your order is loaded onto the ship via RORO it is ensured to function properly and should be free of mechanical
deficiency.
Payments for automobiles from Autocom Japan Inc. must be made by telegraphic transfer (TT) to the Japanese
bank account specifically designated by authorized Autocom Japan Inc. staff. In order to avoid fraud, the customer
must verify the account number by contacting their designated Autocom Japan sales agent.
2. INSPECTION
In the case that local authorities require an inspection to be partaken in Japan, this will be arranged by Autocom Japan
Inc. If the customer chooses to waive or forgo the inspection Autocom Japan Inc. shall not be responsible for any claims
made thereof.
12. Part Payment and Due Balances
Outstanding balances must be paid within 15 calendar days after the vessel departs the port of origin.
Failure to complete the balances entitles Autocom Japan Inc. to re-sell the unit(s) without prior notice.
In the case of illness, demise or inability to complete the due balance, the above does not
apply to customers with a referral contact person who completes the balance. However, the alternate person must
provide proof of the extenuating circumstances. Autocom Japan Inc. reserves the right to withhold original copies
of the B/L or documents until the final payments have been confirmed in our account. In the event a customer
makes another payment and fails to pay the remaining balance in a timely manner, Autocom Japan Inc. will not refund
any portion of the payment as it will be considered as a cancellation fee to cover expenses incurred by Autocom Japan
Inc. and/or the shipping company. Any further costs incurred by Autocom Japan from the time that partial payment
was effected until the full settlement of the due balance shall be recovered by Autocom Japan Inc. from the customer.
3. Shipment
Once payment is confirmed, Autocom Japan Inc. will proceed to book your unit for shipping. Estimated departure and
arrival times as well as routes of ships may change without notice. Autocom Japan Inc. is not responsible for these
changes. Furthermore, Autocom Japan Inc. is not liable for loss or damage to any units beyond its control such as
fire, natural disasters, acts of God, riots, sabotage,insurrection/war, or government law, statute or ordinance.
4. Container
Units can be shipped by container depending on the port and country of destination.
13. Fees
Re-sold units are sold “as-is.” In the event of a customer purchasing a re-sold unit “as-is” that has already arrived in the
port of destination, the customer must pay any demurrage fees, local fees or consignee name amendment fees
that may apply. Any additional costs that may arise in order to gain possession of the unit must be incurred
by the customer.
5. Copyright and Trademark
Any information on Autocom Japan Inc.’s website or information on Autocom Japan Inc. company documents is property
of Autocom Japan Inc. and may not be used without the consent of an authorized agent. Any such information used,
reproduced, or modified without permission is strictly prohibited. Violators will be liable.
6. Claims
14. Severability
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision herein shall not affect any other part of these Terms and Conditions.
Autocom Japan Inc. will consider claims only pertaining to mechanical issues. Any claims must be corroborated by
evidence, such as pictures, video, receipts and inspection sheets from the port authority. Upon receiving the necessary
evidence, Autocom Japan Inc. will respond within 21 business days. Any such claims must come directly from
the agent of purchase who has negotiated with Autocom Japan Inc. Autocom Japan Inc. will not respond to third-party
claims.
15. Governing Law
Any dispute concerning the terms and conditions falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and laws of the
government of Japan and the customer agrees to submit to this jurisdiction.
7. Time Limit for Claims
16. Indemnity
All claims must be submitted within 5 business days after collection of the unit or units. Tardy claims will not be
considered.
The customer agrees to indemnify Autocom Japan Inc. from any claim or action that may arise as a result of the
customer making other agreements based on the transaction between Autocom Japan Inc. and the customer.
The customer further agrees to indemnify Autocom Japan Inc. against any claims or actions resulting from the customer
failing to comply with local laws or regulations of the country or port of destination.
8. Internet
Autocom Japan Inc. is not liable for loss or damage that might occur as a result of the delay, interruption or suspension
of internet services which it depends on to engage in the sale of units.
17. Validity of Agreement
This agreement is valid until the completion of the balance of the negotiated price.
9. Loss or Damage During Shipment
Autocom Japan Inc. is not liable for damage, theft or loss of items or parts during transportation to the port of destination.
18. Amendment
10. Other Services
Autocom Japan Inc. may amend these terms and conditions should the need arise, and the customer shall remain bound
by the revised terms and conditions if a revision takes place.
Autocom Japan Inc. may be able to aid in introducing clearing and forwarding services upon a customer’s request.
Autocom Japan Inc. is not responsible for undertaking these services. Any agreement is exclusive to the customer and
clearing-and-forwarding agent. Therefore, any claim regarding the service of clearing or forwarding shall not be
between Autocom Japan Inc., but between the customer and the agent.
19. Import Regulations and Tariffs
Autocom Japan Inc. is not responsible for any action pertaining to tariffs of imported vehicles.
