Island gardensThe park is on the end of Dogs island, on the north side of the
river Thames. You can see the National Maritime Museum and
the Royal Observatory from here. There is also an entrance to
the tunnel under the river in the park.

Kensington GardensThe Royal Park, about which the book "Peter Pan in
Kensington Gardens" was written. Of course, here you can
find a statue of Peter, as well as a playground in memory of

walks. The park got its name from an ancient unit of
measurement. Many stars, like Madonna or The Cure,
have given concerts here. Hyde Park also used to have
the Crystal Palace, one of the new wonders of the
world. Among other things, it was in Hyde Park that the
famous Speakers' Corner appeared.
