Aldar Kose and the Challenge of the KingdomAldar Kose was a clever man known throughout the land for his wisdom. Although he
didn’t have much wealth, people came from far and wide to ask for his advice. He
always had a way of solving problems, no matter how difficult they seemed. One day,
the king of the land sent for Aldar Kose. The king had heard of his wisdom and needed
help.
“Although I am the king,” said the king, “I am troubled. My people are unhappy, and I
don’t know what to do. I need your advice, Aldar Kose.”
Aldar Kose bowed and listened carefully as the king spoke. The king explained that his
people were complaining about the high taxes, the poor harvests, and the many laws
that made life difficult. The king didn’t know how to fix it all.
Even though Aldar Kose knew the king wanted him to come up with a quick solution,
he told the king, “Though things are difficult, there is always a way if we think
carefully.”
The king asked Aldar Kose to come up with a plan that would make the people happy
again. Though Aldar Kose didn’t have an easy answer, he agreed to help. He spent
many days walking through the villages, listening to the people, and hearing their
concerns. Although some of them were angry, they still spoke to him because they
knew he was a wise man.

One day, Aldar Kose returned to the king’s palace and said, “I have a plan. Though itmight seem unusual, it will work.”
The king was eager to hear it. Aldar Kose explained, “We will lower the taxes for the
farmers and give them more land to work with. Even though it will take time, we can
build a better system to share the harvests fairly. We will also hold regular meetings
where the people can speak their minds and share their ideas with the government.”
The king thought about this plan. “Although it will cost a lot of money to start, I trust
your wisdom, Aldar Kose. Let us give it a try.”
Over the next few months, things began to change. The farmers received more land
and paid fewer taxes. Though some of them were still uncertain, they began to see
their crops growing better. The people started attending the regular meetings, and
many of their ideas helped improve the village life.
Even though it wasn’t an immediate change, the people began to feel happier. They
saw that the king cared about their well-being, and they trusted Aldar Kose’s plan.
Soon, the land became prosperous again, and the people were content.
One day, the king called Aldar Kose into his palace and said, “Though we faced many
challenges, you have helped us find peace and happiness. How can I ever repay you?”
Aldar Kose smiled and replied, “Though I do not need any rewards, it would make me
happy if you continue to listen to your people and always seek what is best for them.”
And so, Aldar Kose returned to his humble home, knowing he had made a difference.
The kingdom prospered, and the people remembered his wisdom for many years.
