Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum Collaboration
Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) is one of the most
famous Dutch artists of all time. Due to his
enormous drive, Van Gogh produced an impressive
oeuvre in those ten years: over 850 paintings and
more than 1,300 drawings have survived, as well as a
large number of watercolours, lithographs and letter
sketches.
During his lifetime, Van Gogh wrote hundreds of
letters to his brother Theo and other family members
and friends. For him, these letters were an
important means of communication and an outlet for
his feelings. Much of what we now know about Van
Gogh's life, his background, what he read, saw and
thought, comes from his own ‘biography’: his
letters.
This unique bedding collection draws inspiration
from some of Van Gogh’s most iconic works, such as
"Boulevard de Clichy" and "Almond Blossom". Crafted
from luxurious 100% cotton sateen, each duvet cover

Motivation for the Van Gogh CGI Project
We are thrilled to be embarking on this collaboration with Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum,
and we're excited about leveraging the power of CGI to bring this extraordinary collection to
life in an engaging and contemporary way. This project seeks to elevate the Home Centre brand
by blending world-class art with premium home textiles, creating a sensory experience that
will captivate our target audience.
Why we are doing this:
Celebrating Premium Design and Artistic Heritage
The Beddinghouse x Van Gogh collection is not just another range of home textiles. It represents a fusion of iconic art
and sophisticated design, reflecting the mastery of Vincent van Gogh. Through CGI, we can highlight the intricate
details of Van Gogh’s brushstrokes, the depth of his colours, and the rich cultural story embedded in each piece. This
project will position Home Centre as a brand that curates premium, artistic experiences within the home, resonating with
discerning customers who appreciate both quality and cultural value.
Connecting with a Differentiated Customer Base
Our target demographic is diverse, including Arab nationals, expats from the GCC, and affluent Western art lovers. This
collaboration offers a perfect opportunity to appeal to art enthusiasts and those seeking unique, sophisticated home
décor. By creating content that brings Van Gogh’s art to life in an immersive digital environment, we can captivate a
more premium and design-conscious audience who value culture as much as comfort.
Driving Virality and Cultural Relevance in the UAE
The UAE is a growing hub of art, culture, and digital innovation. By combining Van Gogh's timeless art with cutting-edge
CGI technology, we have the opportunity to create visually stunning content that will resonate across social media
platforms, sparking conversations among art lovers, influencers, and design aficionados. This initiative positions Home
Centre as a forward-thinking brand at the intersection of art, technology, and lifestyle.

What we hope to achieve:
Engagement and Virality: We aim to create visually captivating CGI posts for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and
YouTube, with the potential to go viral. This is about more than just showcasing the product – it’s about sparking
curiosity and engagement through innovative, shareable content.
Increased Brand Perception: This collaboration allows us to differentiate ourselves from competitors by offering not
only affordable luxury but also a deeper cultural connection through art. CGI will enable us to visually communicate
the craftsmanship and heritage behind the Van Gogh collection in a way that static images simply can’t.
Strengthening Customer Loyalty: By aligning Home Centre with a world-renowned cultural institution, we aim to build
stronger emotional ties with our customers, especially those who appreciate high-quality, unique products that tell
a story. This campaign will not only boost sales but also solidify brand loyalty, particularly among premium
segments of our audience.

Almond Blossom – Blue
This design is based on the painting, ‘’Almond
Blossom‘’. Vincent painted one of his favourite
subjects as a gift: large, blossoming branches
against a blue sky. He painted it to mark the
birth of his godson, also named after him,
Vincent Willem. As a symbol of new life,
Vincent chose the branches of the almond tree,
one of the earliest flowering trees, announcing
spring as early as February. With the subject,
the sharp outlines and the placement of the
tree in the picture plane, Van Gogh was
inspired by Japanese printmaking.
The duvet cover is made of 100% cotton satin,
220 TC with a plain grey-blue reverse. Thanks
to the satin weave, the fabric feels
wonderfully soft and gives it a sophisticated
sheen. The duvet cover has a button clossure at
the bottom to ensure the duvet stays in place
properly. The duvet cover can be washed up to
60 degrees, is suitable for the tumble dryer
and can be ironed.

Boulevard – Grey
This design is based on the painting,
‘’Boulevard de Clichy‘’. Boulevard de Clichy is
one of the major streets in the Parisian
artists' neighbourhood of Montmartre. Van Gogh
painted the intersection he often passed. On the
right, just outside the picture, rue Lepic began
where he lived with his brother Theo. In Paris,
Van Gogh came into contact with the latest art
of his time, impressionism and neoimpressionism. Gradually, this led him to use
lighter colours. He also experimented with a
variety of painting techniques. His brushstroke,
with many dashes of paint placed side by side,
reveals the influence of these art movements.
