superhero film based on the Marvel Comics
superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy. They are a
group of intergalactic criminals who have banded
together to protect the galaxy from internal and
external threats.

Groot
is my favorite character
A tree-like humanoid, he is the accomplice of Rocket.
Groot is first introduced as Rocket's partner
appearing in the film Guardians of the Galaxy. He has
a limited vocabulary, using only his popular
catchphrase "I am Groot", although he later
managed to say the phrase "We are Groot" before
sacrificing his life for the Guardians of the Galaxy in
the battle with Ronan for an infinity stone. Other
Groot characteristics include the ability to grow his
branches in height, length, and girth (assimilating
arms and legs), vining branches, growing flowers and
producing a form of luminescent seeds. The mature
Groot appears to be nearly indestructible by his
ability to thicken his branches into a protective mass.
He serves as a friend, shield and protector of Rocket
and his fellow Guardian friends.

who became a criminal for hire and calls
himself Rocket.
Rocket was born in a zoo in North America
on Earth. When he was a cub, he was
taken away with a pack of raccoons by the
High Evolutionary. They are conducting
genetic and cybernetic experiments on
Rocket. When his friends are killed by the
High Evolutionary while trying to escape,
Rocket attacks the High Evolutionary,
scratches his face with his claws, and
escapes by sneaking onto the ship. Not
long after his escape, he meets Groot, an
anthropomorphic tree.

Peter Jason Quill is a halfhuman, half-Celestial who was
kidnapped by the Ravagers as a
child. After his abduction, he
began to build his reputation as
a legendary outlaw known as
Star-Lord, eventually becoming
the founder and leader of the
Guardians of the Galaxy.
As a child, Gamora's planet
was invaded by Thanos,
whose forces killed half the
population, including her
parents. Gamora
confronted him, and out of
admiration for her courage,
he adopted her as his
daughter. She was trained
as an assassin, and raised
alongside Nebula, whom
she was often pitted against
in fights, in which Gamora
always won.

forcibly adopted by Thanos. After
he killed her family, she was raised
alongside Gamora and trained to
be a warrior. Thanos often forced
them to fight and Gamora was
always victorious. After every loss,
Thanos would have a piece of
Nebula replaced with a cybernetic
part, transforming her into a
cyborg.
In Guardians of the Galaxy,
Drax is characterized as a
warrior who seeks to avenge his
family's death at the hands of
Ronan. Drax has superhuman
strength and durability, and
exceptional fighting skills.
