Grammar note:
Present Perfect (have/has+done) is commonly used when listing professional
experiences
● I have published five articles
● I have taught Physics and supervised interns
Past Simple is also useful for actions in the Past:
● I went to MIT
● I completed my PhD and went to Budapest.
To be+ going to / Present Continuous(to be+doing) is used to to talk about future plans
and intentions. Usually the decision about the future plans has already been made:
● I’m meeting someone from the University of Glasgow at the conference next

some dates.
