Early life
The relationship between Arnold and his brother and father was very toxic. The father
punched and frightened him, and also turned the brothers against each other. According
to Schwarzenegger’s memories, the atmosphere in the house was very tense. But every
cloud has a silver lining. Arnold was pretty close with his mother Aurelia. He loved her so
much. When she passed away in 1998, his world just collapsed…

Beginning of his career
Through the cinema and example setting by
Reg Park(british actor and bodybuilder) the
boy began to dream of success associated
with America and a sports career.
During army service in 1965 he went awol to
participate in the bodybuilding competition
“Mr.Europe”, and won it as a junior.
In 1966 he participated in the “Mr.Universe”
competition in London, in which he took
second place, however a year later he won
the victory and the coveted title here. In 1969
and 1970 the sportsman participated and won
in these competitions as a professional.

Bodybuilding career
When Schwarzenegger moved to California and
trained at a club “Gold’s Gym”, where he met Joe
Vader, who represented the International
Bodybuilding Federation which sponsored the
competitions “Mr.Universe” and “Mr.Olympia”. Vader
not only saw the potential of the young bodybuilder,
but was also fascinated by his charm and sense of
humor.
Arnold built an unprecedented career and became
famous all over the world as The Australian Oak.
He won five “Mr.Universe” titles and seven
“Mr.Olimpia” titles. After winning in 1975,
Schwarzenegger stopped participating in
competitions, but returned to competition in 1980
to win “Mr.Olympia” once again
