The Troika

The Troika is an
old Russian
team of horses.
It was invented for
the fastest possible
ride over long
distances.

It can reach speeds of up to 60 kilometers
per hour, which is unattainable for any
harness in the world.

In the center there is a root horse,
which should go at a clear and fast trot,
on the side there are attached horses.
They usually gallop.

If one person was riding in it, then one horse was
harnessed, if two, then two horses, and, accordingly,
three people got into the caravan, then three horses
were harnessed.

6.

Starting in 1840, equestrian
competitions began to be organized
at the hippodrome in Moscow,
where Troika competed in speed.
