“Vibing”
Vibe means a person's emotional
state or the atmosphere of a place as
communicated to and felt by others.
By the 1960s, musical vibe came
to be slang for an “instinctive feeling”.
Vibing means relaxing, tapping into
good feelings of the atmosphere.
The hippie movement would use the
word to describe being in tune with the
“vibration” of the universe, your
environment, and other people.
